Philippine Marketing Association

Earlier this day, I was inducted as the Assistant Secretary of Philippine Marketing Association in our local chapter. I did not expect it to be as demanding as I thought it would be but nevertheless, I am getting used to it already with the last three meetings that I attended before the induction.

It is my first time to be an officer of an association and I know the position entails a lot of responsibilities. I am lucky to have other officers supporting each other and doing their best to promote the association and its endeavors. 

So, what's next?

More edu-taining (educational training) on our part, more innovative business marketing strategies and more members in the next few months.

Afternoon Jeepney Ride

I am back... as if I've been gone for too long.  Nothing really magnificent happened but I had random thoughts while I was riding the jeepney on my way home.  I was thinking anxiously of meeting my long time friends for dinner today but for some reason it didn't push through because of conflicts in the schedule of one of our friends.  Here is where the randomness started... here are the things that I thought of:   1.  Do not judge a person by his/her picture... I saw the campaign poster of one politician running for vice-mayoralty post and I have met this politician in person for the first time a few weeks ago... totally opposite... Good Things Happen To Good People

After more than a week of fretting about my internet connection and having no extra income as an effect, I am almost close to accepting that returning back to web full time will take me at least three weeks because I have a new sideline--which, of course will make me busy (even busier).  My online bosses were so considerate of me that they would just patiently wait until my virtual world becomes normal again.  I can hug them so tight! I will not anymore ask why oh why to the heavens above because despite the what I call unfortunate events after the typhoon, I am blessed with more than I am expecting.  It is pouring actually.  I couldn't be any happier and it just proved one thing--good things happen to good people. *Wink*
