Who Won the Grand Lotto Jackpot?

Image
Random Thoughts: Grand Lotto 6/55 Winner I saw in the news last night that the lotto winner of 742.1M got a little help from a machine to pick numbers. Machine aided picks cost more than 20 pesos. It made me think that the winner has the money to spend for gambling considering he can pay for lucky picks. Aside from that, PCSO confirms that the winner is from Luzon. Later this day, I heard a news that the lucky lotto outlet who will receive a percentage from the jackpot is from Subic. Photo from here . The lotto roller coaster ride actually made people frantic, crazy and lose their marbles. After the PCSO announced that there is one winner and clues were given, people started to have speculations. One speculator is Tim Yap--a broadsheet columnist, showbiz talk show host, self professed fashionista and eventologist (what the hell was that?). He proudly twitted that the winner is Miko Morelos, a reporter from Philippine Daily Inquirer. He even twitted that the poor guy has a twitter...

Grand Lotto 6/55 Winner

OMG! The 742.1M+ Grand Lotto jackpot landed on the lucky hands of one person from Luzon.  What a great Christmas gift.  The lucky numbers drawn last night were: 11-16-42-47-31-37 What to do with all that money??? If used wisely, it can support the winner's entire family for generations.   This lotto roller coaster is like GMA 7's on going television show Pepito Manaloto .  Pepito is a poor family man who tried his luck in lotto.  He got the 700 million jackpot needless to say and their lives were changed forever.  There were rumors that it is based on the real life story of a lotto winner. Congratulations!

Lotto Game

I tried my luck and bet 80 pesos in lotto for a chance to win more than 300M pesos.  My aunt and I hurried to the betting station last night for tonight's grand lotto draw. While waiting for the numbers to be drawn, I am already thinking of how to spend the money.  Here are the things that I thought of: 1.  Today's jackpot is 333,000,000+,  I will give the 33M+ to charities. 2.  I will give portion to my mom, dad and two sisters. 3.  I will build a house on my itty bitty lot, I really don't want a big house because it is harder to maintain. 4.  If my sister will pursue her migration to Canada, I will give her financial assistance. 5.  I will put up the business that I have been longing for. 6.  I will force my mom to resign on her job.  She doesn't need to work anymore anyway because we're all working. 7.  I will share my blessings to my relatives. 8.  I will put the rest of the money in different financial institutions. I...

Hate Meetings? Play Bingo

Image
I hate meetings, specifically long meetings without an output.  I think those are just a waste of time, energy and resources.  And more often than not, in the middle of a boring and pointless discussion I end up making doodles, frequenting the bathroom, sleeping with my eyes wide open, or practicing out of the body experience.  I actually am running out of things to do just to keep myself  looking awake during meetings.  Today may be my lucky day.  I have found another kill-boredom-during-meetings-activity that will, well, kill boredom during meetings.  Thanks to the Desktop Diva . *Drum roll, please. Just cross out the words that will be mentioned during the meeting.  If the five blocks are crossed diagonally, horizontally or vertically, just like in Bingo, you win.  Stand up and shout BULLSHIT!!! I think I am going to win in less than one minute.

BINGO!

Image
I am not a gambler, the most participation that you could get from me is to play Bingo .  I learned how to play Bingo when I was in elementary, my grand parents together with my other relatives would play it every afternoon in our lawn.  Basically, Bingo time is one of our bonding times (really unusual, huh?!).  The unusual activity continues up to this time, different players but the same game rules. My lucky Bingo card. Last December, I was able to play Bingo during our Christmas party.  The price at stake is not that high but everybody was excited to join.  At first I was hesitant to buy a card thinking I am really poor at gambling and my pragmatic self tells me that the probability of winning a Bingo black out game decreases as the number of players increases.  But, I did not listen.  What am I to lose?  Play just for fun. The first number was called and then the second number and so on...  My two cards only needed one number ea...
