Better Days by Dianne Reeves

Just because I miss my best friend. This is one of her favorite songs. I think this is one of the hardest songs to sing.

Geraldine 'Fame' Flores of Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1 Semi-Finals

Image
This gave me goosebumps. Raw talent. It's like watching a musical/opera on television. I love her! If she will be given a chance, she could be the next Lea Salonga.

Scotty Wins!

Image
The 17 year old North Carolina native beat Lauren Alaina in this season of American Idol. I wasn't surprised when Ryan Seacrest announced Scotty's name because I already knew when he auditioned that he will make it to the top. When Ryan asked Scotty how he felt, he said, "Man, it's been a year since me and Lauren tried out. We've been together since day one, and we're going to stay together." What surprised me was when Scotty kissed Lauren after Ryan announced he won and when I heard Scotty say "I love you baby" to Lauren when he was singing the final song. Are they a couple?  Watch again the video. That is definitely not a kiss on the forehead. This is what I get for not watching AI every week. Here is my favorite Scotty song... a duet with Lauren. They actually look and sound good together.

Le Festin by Camille (Ratatouille Soundtrack)

Image
My son finds Remy cute. I find him odd because in real world, rats can't (don't and shouldn't) cook. Anyway, we both enjoy watching Ratatouille over and over again. It makes me want to go to Paris even more. I sing a long each time Le Festin plays in the background even though I could not understand a word in it or if I am pronouncing the words right, I just find the song the perfect Parisian experience if you are not in Paris.

Stay The Night by James Blunt

Just loving the vibe of this song. Happy listening.

Lady Gaga Falls On Stage

Image
Poor Lady Gaga falls on stage during her concert in Houston. Being a professional performer that she is, she continued singing without even missing a note. Kudos Lady Gaga!

Pia Toscano is Out!

This is shocking! Pia Toscano was eliminated from American Idol Season 10 which makes Stefano Langone a week safe again after being at the bottom three for weeks now. Everyone was left in shock! Stefano is one hell of a lucky guy.

Hollywood by Michael Buble

Michael Buble is so cute in this video!

Ne-Yo Mad Lyrical Dance cried me a river

Image
Gee! I wish I can dance like them. Ne-Yo's Mad is one of my all time favorite love songs and it's made even special by adding lyrical dance to it. Just lovely! It makes me wanna fall in love again.

What A Wonderful World by Thia Megia cried me a river

Image
It's not because of hormones, oh no. Thia Megia is just so good, she made me cry while listening to her version of What A Wonderful World... and it is not the whole song yet. Team Thia all the way!

Maria on The Ellen Show

Image
Maria has gone a long way since Lady Gaga's tweet about her cover of Born This Way. After more than 10 million views in You Tube and Lady Gaga's conversation with her on the phone, she now guested in The Ellen Show. And she sang her the song that made Lady Gaga cry.

Favorite Video of the Day: Lady Gaga cried over this

Image
Lady Gaga really checks out the social media and socializes with her fans. I love her! In the mean time, be amazed or even cry with this video she shared on Twitter from You Tube. This kid is really amazing! Her version of Lady Gaga's Born This Way is so sweet. Maria Aragon is a 10-year old kid of Filipino parents in Canada. In her site, she said she don't look at music sheets, she just figure out the chords all by herself.  And this is Lady Gaga's version. Funky.

Sarah McLachlan - Angel (OST City of Angels)

Image
"I would rather have one breath of her hair, one kiss of her mouth, one touch of her hand, than eternity without it." Happy Valentine's Day to all! Spread the LOVE. XOXO

Bruno Mars - Just the Way You Are

Andy Gibb's Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away)... cried me a river

Image
This song cried me a river because it is my favorite song and it  was dedicated to me by someone. Sing and cry with me if you please. Maybe I don't wanna know the reason why But lately you don't talk to me And darling I can't see me in your eyes. I hold you near but you're so far away And it's losing you I can't believe To watch you leave and let this feeling die. You alone are the living that keeps me alive And tomorrow if I'm here without your love You know I can't survive Only my love can raise you high above it all. Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love. Don't throw it all away, our love, our love Don't throw it all away, our love. We can take the darkness and make it full of light But let your love flow back to me How can you leave and let this feeling die? This happy room will be a lonely place when you are gone And I won't even have your shoulders for the crying on No other woma...

Another case of hormonal imbalance... it is all your fault Charice!

I feel silly today.  I initially had goosebumps while watching Celine Dion and Charice's Because You Loved Me duet and then I cried.  Cried with lots of tears.  Goosebumps all over especially at 2:10... I hate it when it happens.  You go watch this video while I wipe the tears on my cheeks.  Pesky hormones!  Oh, grab a tissue first before you click on the play button.

North Korea and South Korea: Make Love, Not War

I pray that peace will prevail between North and South Korea.  War will just do anyone no good.  I know that both nations have great leaders and somewhere, somehow, I know both parties will realize that it is not the ammunitions that will resolve the issues.  North Korea and South Korea: make love not war, after all, you both share the same name--Korea.

J. Lo on Idol

Image
Photo from here . Jennifer Lopez officially joins the American Idol group wearing a sparkling silver jumpsuit.  This lead me to thinking, American Idol will never ever be the same again.  Her hair is so luscious and gorgeous, though. I still don't know what to expect from J. Lo, I don't know her judging style (although, she once became a mentor) and her style sense has become so unpredictable.  The next American Idol will definitely be a fusion of music and fashion.
