I like dogs and birds and fishes but surprisingly, I do not own any. I used to have a puppy which I named Jimmy because he is so tiny and cute like Jimminy Cricket of Pinocchio but after just a week of taking care of him, he mysteriously disappeared. After days of looking for him, I discovered that he was hit and run by a neighbor and they did not even tell me about it. I felt sad and angry, really. And now hearing the news about 100 dogs being slaughtered in Canada is something that gives me the creeps. I pity those poor dogs. What is even more surprising is that the one who allegedly slaughtered them is the one who used to take care of them. 

I have heard of spontaneous combustion by a human being but this is the first I heard a news about a young girl in Antique, Philippines named Em-em who can create fire out of nothing and by just saying the word "sunog" (fire in English). The NBI (National Bureau of Investigation)checked if the fabric has chemicals to it which might have caused the fabric to burn but they did not find any. If this is really what it seemed it was, then, this girl is the first in the world. She kinda reminds me of Pyro of the X-Men who can create and manipulate fire.

At around 2:46pm today, Tokyo, Japan was hit by a 8.9 magnitude earthquake that caused 20 to 33 feet high tsunami waves in Sendai of the Miyagi Prefecture. Fifty people from Tokyo were confirmed dead but officials are expecting higher numbers as they assess the extent of the damage. It was also reported that a ship of over 100 passengers was carried away by the tsunami. Tsunami alert was given to nearby coastal areas of the Philippines, Hawaii and other Pacific islands. More earthquake photos here . In these times, all that we can do is pray and hope for the fast recovery of the affected areas.

I am no longer an Aquarius. I am now a Capricorn. How come? There's a new zodiac sign --Ophiuchus (November 30 to December 17). According to Explore Astrology , Capricorns are: "Very ambitious,  driven by the need for success, money, position and authority. Their career and succeeding in it is very important to them, so much so that they often prefer to be in charge. But despite their aspirations, they are also very grounded and practical people." Capricorns also tend to suffer from bone and joint diseases like arthritis, rheumatism, and other orthopedic problems. I am osteopenic. Okay, this freaks me out. I checked the personality traits of Aquarius and it no longer matches mine. I guess I will have to live with being born under the Capricorn sign from now on. Thank goodness it is only in slum book that I will have to write my Zodiac sign. And ...

This Toyota Innova caught my attention this afternoon.  I was already tired after almost four hours of shopping when my eye had a glance of it from the inside of the jeepney we were riding.  It was traffic so I was able to get a photo of this really unique car.  It is unique because it has Louis Vuitton's logo all over it.  If you will zoom the photo, even the tissue holder on the dashboard is clad with Louis Vuitton.  I bet the owner of this car is so obsessed with the brand. I have seen tribal inspired prints, famous animes, sexy women and even Hello Kitty (looks awful) painted on cars but this is the first time I have seen a famous leather goods brand on a car.  I was not able to see the car seats, but I bet it also has LV on it. Why?

OMG! The 742.1M+ Grand Lotto jackpot landed on the lucky hands of one person from Luzon.  What a great Christmas gift.  The lucky numbers drawn last night were: 11-16-42-47-31-37 What to do with all that money??? My office mate gave me the creeps yesterday.  I reported one hour late for work because I had a severe headache.  After only a few minutes in the office, my office mate asked me if my other office mate was inside.  I said no because I did not see her when I got in the office and I was the only one inside.  I asked her why and she said our boss thought she saw our office mate enter the room wearing a gray blazer and her usual hairstyle.  We thought maybe it was just me she saw but I was wearing a green blazer and my hair was up.  Our boss went inside the room and insisted that she saw my office mate entering the room a few minutes ago. Our missing office mate reported late for work too because of fever and I asked her if by any chance she wore a gray blazer in the morning.  She said she was wearing a gray blazer earlier that day but since she could not make it in the office, she changed her clothes and went to sleep again. I am not a good dancer but I like to dance.  I don't have a particular dance that I dance, I haven't tried all but I would love to if I have a chance.  I am mostly into dancing hip hop but I don't know how to break dance, I am fascinated about the twists and turns and the bone breaking moves.  I have seen women break dance but this woman... pregnant woman--break dancing is something you won't see in your daily life.  It hurts just by looking at it... fascinating but it really hurts!  It makes me dead worried!
