I have heard of spontaneous combustion by a human being but this is the first I heard a news about a young girl in Antique, Philippines named Em-em who can create fire out of nothing and by just saying the word "sunog" (fire in English). The NBI (National Bureau of Investigation)checked if the fabric has chemicals to it which might have caused the fabric to burn but they did not find any. If this is really what it seemed it was, then, this girl is the first in the world. She kinda reminds me of Pyro of the X-Men who can create and manipulate fire.

My son and I, together with some relatives, made the most out the vacation.  Yesterday, we went to SMX at SM Mall of Asia to watch the Great American Circus.  It was our first time to watch a real live circus.  It's different from the one we see in peryas during fiestas. There were no live chicken eating, no disabled people featured as half mermaid-half human, no oddities at all--just amazing feats regular people can't do. We arrived at SMX an hour before the show, we waited in line for about thirty minutes before they opened the gates. The show features acrobats, daredevils--including the Guinness Book of World Records holder for crossbow, jugglers, clowns and a Michael Jackson impersonator.  The highlight of the show was the "Wheel of Death" where two people ran inside two rings just like a ferris wheel.  I really enjoyed watching the aerial dancers. I am not a good dancer but I like to dance.  I don't have a particular dance that I dance, I haven't tried all but I would love to if I have a chance.  I am mostly into dancing hip hop but I don't know how to break dance, I am fascinated about the twists and turns and the bone breaking moves.  I have seen women break dance but this woman... pregnant woman--break dancing is something you won't see in your daily life.  It hurts just by looking at it... fascinating but it really hurts!  It makes me dead worried!

I am proud to be a Filipino!   I don't have enough good reasons why I shouldn't be.  Filipinos are known for their hospitality, optimism, artistry, talent, courage and beauty... what's not to love about that? This is one of the many reasons why I don't lose hope for mankind.  The Dancing Inmates of Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center (CPDRC) in the Philippines are at it again, now dancing to the tune of Michael Jackson's This Is It. The inmates' first taste of fame was when they all danced to MJ's Thriller and with their success, they were visited by MJ's long-time choreographer Travis Payne together with Daniel Celebre and Dres Reid to teach them how to dance This Is It. Time and time again, this proves that even the nation's most notorious criminals can be molded into disciplined individuals.  This is one of the best ways to commemorate the King of Pop's invaluable contribution to the entertainment industry.  If he's still alive today, he'd be proud that these guys were able to pull off a great choreography to a great song.  Enjoy!
