Honestly, what do you think of this photo? I took this photo earlier this day from a photo shoot for an upcoming advertisement using my iPhone 4S. The photo that will be used for the actual advertisement was shot by a professional photographer. I showed this to him because this is the shot that I want for the advertisement. This photo makes me want to buy a DSLR... Do you think I will have a career in photography?

The hotel heiress and socialite, Paris Hilton, arrived on Sunday at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for a 5-day business trip to promote a resort hotel and to open her fashion boutique. Despite losing two cellphones, she happily tweeted: "Mabuhay Philippines! I just arrived, thousands of fans waiting at the airport when I walked in. I feel so welcomed here! Mahal ko kayo! :)" She's wearing a mustard tunic with embroidered neckline and comfortable jeans. She added chunky gold rings, bangles and simple earrings to complete the look. I like the bright colors and details of each piece that complements other pieces of the entire collection. Everybody loves Gucci , even Hollywood stars can agree to me that Gucci is one of the most coveted brands of the season. Elizabeth and James needs to be applauded for making gorgeous sandals at reasonable prices. I am not wondering why Marc Jacobs was hired by Louis Vuitton . He just creates the most beautiful things in the world like the braided 'Ossie' bag that I am wanting to have this season.

United Nude has some awesome wedge sandals for Spring... I could not wait to get my hands (feet) on them. A few weeks time and it is already Summer (here) so I will temporarily say goodbye to my jackets and cardigans. Buying jacket in Summer is not prohibited so I still have an excuse if I will buy a Burberry jacket that is not so fond of receiving hugs... that is, if I have the budget. Owning an Hermes satchel would be tantamount to asking for world peace so I will just probably have an almost similar design from other bag designers. Katy Perry probably is  applying  to become Victoria's Secret Angel so she wore angel wings during the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.

I need not go to Chicago to have my hair blown by the wind. Where I am right now is enough for me to experience the wind. It has always been like this in the Philippines when the snow from other parts of the world starts to melt and the Northeast monsoon gushes towards the Southeast. I plan to do a lot of things, including going back to school and learning new skills.  My friend suggests that I start with what I love to do and already have an idea to begin with so that learning would be easier for me.  After a few seconds of contemplating about it, I said I have enroll to a beauty school .  I like to experiment with makeup and  I am an artistic person, although I do not know how to paint, I think mixing colors on a blank face is the closest thing to painting. Aside from satisfying my creative side, I can also use my new skill to earn extra. I can not wait to sign up.

I hate thongs!  No, I did not put this sign somewhere to declare my feelings against the fabric-deprived underwear.  Thongs worn by women may be forgivable because of some wardrobe and fashion concerns. There is an option.  If you are conscious about those ugly panty lines, why don't you wear seamless panties instead? I admit to collecting bags when I was still economically capable of buying 'expensive' ones... that was like two years ago.  My means to finally get out of the habit of compulsive bag buying was to purge most of the bags.  It was a heart breaking experience but I survived the ordeal... Rompers and jump suits worn by any kid (even teens) will perhaps make them land on the cutest do's in town, but for a grown up woman to wear such hideousness is a sure entrance ticket to the worst don'ts of all and this blog's Bad Fad edition.  Grown up stars wearing this, they will be punished, are Lauren Conrad , Mary J. Blige , Jessica Biel , Evangeline Lilly ,  and Tina Fey (would you believe?).  I can be forgiving if rompers and jump suits will be worn inside the house and not on the red carpet, unless your intention is to have a wedgy that you can proudly show off to paparazzis or unsuspecting innocent bystanders.

  Karl is watching you demode ones. Hurray for Mother Earth!   Yesterday was a busy day, it is Earth Day celebration, and people from all over the world contributed something to save our dear earth.  One event that caught my attention was the The GreenShows runway show that features dresses made out of recycled materials.  Gary Harvey, former creative director of Levi's Strauss and Dockers Europe, was the designer who wowed the audience during the event.   I especially love the dress in photo that says what Mother Earth wants to say to us.  To check out other recycled couture, click here .
