Random Clicks: Marines Beach Resort, Ternate, Cavite
Who would have thought that hidden behind the tall camp fence and heavily guarded perimeter is a beach?! Not just a beach, but an actual resort wherein you and your family and friends can enjoy the crystal blue water and white sand. The Marines Beach Resort or Boracay de Cavite is located at Ternate, Cavite, 2 to 2 1/2 hours away from Manila. At 100 pesos entrance fee and 350 pesos cottage fee, you get to experience the beach at its best. The resort is open everyday except during Balikatan Exercises of the US and Philippine Marines.
Here is how you get there...

I recommend you arrive at the beach at 6AM. You will not be able to see the sunrise because the beach is facing the west but that means you will be able to see the gorgeous sunset.
The resort's simplicity and the clear and shallow water are enough for you to forget about the time.
I suggest you bring goggles because the shallow water is perfect if you want to snorkel. It was low tide when we went there yesterday. Fishing is prohibited in the area.
Behind that wall is Caylabne Bay Beach Resort which is also famous for its white sand beach, hotels and other recreational facilities.
It was windy when we went there so you don't get to feel the sun on your skin. But, don't forget to put on a sun block and lip balm just to be sure you don't get sun burn.
The island from afar is the famous Corregidor Island in Bataan. It is a 45-minute boat ride from the camp.
Thanks for sharing! I will take my talent there!
ReplyDeleteWelcome! Thanks for dropping by. =)
DeleteHi joanne..ask ko lng, are they accepting reservations?
ReplyDelete-au-
Yes they are. But you have to go there personally to make a reservation. Their room rate is Php750 for overnight stay, that's good for a family of 4 to 5.
DeleteHow are the rooms? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! Don't expect the rooms to be hotel-like.
DeleteAre the rooms okay? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi! Don't expect the rooms to be hotel-like. They are decent for an overnight stay.
DeleteHi Ms. Joaane. Ask kolang paano pumunta diyan if by commute? I'm from Cubao, QC. Thanks. :))
ReplyDeleteGo to Lawton and then ride an FX or bus going to Naic, Cavite. From there, ride a jeep or bus going to Maragondon. Hire a jeep or tricyle going to the Marines Beach, it is a private road so there are no public transporations available. Have a safe trip!
DeleteHi Ms. Joanne,Ask ko lang po kong hiring po kayu kahit waiter, i have no experience at all.but i graduated in bachelor of science in marine transportation, fing a part time job.may name is louie .tnx po
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry pero hindi po ako employer. Anyway, good luck on your job hunting!
DeletePwede po bang malaman yung exact place ng bababaan sa Naic and Maragondon? :)
ReplyDeleteNaic terminal is in Poblacion, in front of Mercury. Take a bus ride from there or ride a jeep.

DeleteHi ms joanne! May i ask, do they accept reservations? Do you have any contact numbers of the camp? Is it open on weekends? Thank you in anticipatuon of your response. God bless. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, they do pero you still have to go there personally to make a reservation. They don't have a telephone line. Open sya everyday except during Balikatan Exercises.
DeleteHi Ms Joanne, safe po ba mag overnight? maliwanag po ba dyan pag gabi?
ReplyDeleteSuper safe, you're surrounded by Marines! Maliwanag sa camp pero sa street going there ay madilim. I suggest you go there before 5PM kasi medyo steep and may mga sharp curves ang road.
