Kris Allen's Philippine Concert

After some speculations, American Idol Season 8 grand winner Kris Allen will have a concert in the Philippines on  February 5 at 7PM at the SM City North Parking in Cebu City, and on February 6, 8PM, at the McKinley Hills Concert Area, The Fort in Taguig City.  The concert is presented by Metrocard Club and Channel V Philippines and produced by Fearless Productions.  To get your tickets, visit Ticket World.

Kris Allen arrived in Manila on February 3, he even mentioned his arrival on his twitter account.  Like the two Davids (Cook and Archuleta) who did a concert in the Philippines last year, Kris Allen's will surely be a hit because American Idols has a special place in every Filipinos' heart.

Following Kris' victory on American Idol 8, he launched his first self-titled album on November 17, 2009 by Jive Records with the carrier single "Live Like You're Dying".  The album debuted #11 on U.S. Billboard 200.

Afternoon Jeepney Ride

I am back... as if I've been gone for too long.  Nothing really magnificent happened but I had random thoughts while I was riding the jeepney on my way home.  I was thinking anxiously of meeting my long time friends for dinner today but for some reason it didn't push through because of conflicts in the schedule of one of our friends.  Here is where the randomness started... here are the things that I thought of:   1.  Do not judge a person by his/her picture... I saw the campaign poster of one politician running for vice-mayoralty post and I have met this politician in person for the first time a few weeks ago... totally opposite... Good Things Happen To Good People

After more than a week of fretting about my internet connection and having no extra income as an effect, I am almost close to accepting that returning back to web full time will take me at least three weeks because I have a new sideline--which, of course will make me busy (even busier).  My online bosses were so considerate of me that they would just patiently wait until my virtual world becomes normal again.  I can hug them so tight! I will not anymore ask why oh why to the heavens above because despite the what I call unfortunate events after the typhoon, I am blessed with more than I am expecting.  It is pouring actually.  I couldn't be any happier and it just proved one thing--good things happen to good people. *Wink*
