In The Mood for Nude

Nude is one of the re-appearing trends in the runways and I couldn't agree less if designers always include it in their collection regardless of the season because it is a versatile color and although it washes out fair skinned, it is generally flattering.  Hollywood stars like Penelope Cruz, Sienna Miller and even Angelina Jolie strutted a nude gown with a dramatic side slit during the Cannes Film Festival.  The Golden Globes was also not spared by nude gorgeous gowns.  Here are some nude things that you might want to include in your wardrobe.

This Valentino Glamorous Bow Pumps, $695 at Saks Fifth Avenue, with the bow detail at the back made this pump really interesting.  Wear with a dress that shows your legs so that your friends will ogle with envy at the beauty of your shoe.  The D&G Royal Peep-toe Pump gives the same effect as the Valentino pump for a fraction of the cost.  Get this at Forward Forward for $315 (previously $525).

 
This Newport tiered dress is sexy enough without showing too much skin, for $89 at Newport News this is already a value but the Jessica Howard tiered dress (right) at Dillard's sells for $80, you get $9 savings... but wait, you can have another dollar saved for the same dress at Spiegel.

World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

I went to the mall to see World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles earlier this day. It is a story about, probably, man's greatest battle with aliens set in Los Angeles. It is not the best movie to watch with your family but if you want something to scare yourself even more after Japan's devastating battle with nature, this is the best movie for you. It is a feel good movie in the end since the marines, led by Aaron Eckhart, found a way to end the alien invasion. I will not spill the beans, though. My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

50 Questions Challenge, Day 27: Do you want to change your career?

Yes, I planned about changing my career.  I am already growing tired of bureaucracy, excessive politicking, communistic type of management.  I never knew that it is more rampant in private offices than in government agencies.  I am actually wondering how I get to live by it for almost 4 years now.  The last quarter of 2009, I already decided it is time to go and look for a better environment to use and hone my skills.   I extended my stay as requested by my dear friends at work.  Actually, it is just the company of friends that made it hard for me to deny their request of me staying for a little while.  The little while went on for months and  I could not believe that it is the last quarter already and I am still living the life and working the work.
