In for Spring

Shopping sites banner gives its shoppers a hint on what is in this spring. Spring trends on the runways like nudes and pastels, animal prints, florals, fringes and latticeworks are resonating in shopping sites--you will never be lost in finding the latest trends this season.

 
Neiman Marcus shouts Flora & Fauna in their site and offering designs by Manolo Blahnik, Prada, Stuart Weitzman, Guiseppe Zanotti and others.  Stand-out designs are strappy sandals in nude and animal prints, hobos and totes in spring colors and floral designs are the new arrivals for the season, while dresses that are beautifully draped or in tribal prints are in.

 
Bloomingdale's makes the cut in their banner by showcasing shoes in latticework, fringe and weaving. Again tribal print and nude tops are the latest additions, while studs and animal prints rule the bags for the season.

 
Macy's combined tough and tender to emphasize the ruling trends this season.  Mixing ruffles, tiers and drapes with tough studs and structured shapes adds sophistication to an ensemble. Shoes in extremely high and low heels are prominent in their new arrivals and while hobos and totes ruled Neiman Marcus, handbags in animal prints, fringes and florals are definitely grabbing attention at Macy's.

World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

I went to the mall to see World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles earlier this day. It is a story about, probably, man's greatest battle with aliens set in Los Angeles. It is not the best movie to watch with your family but if you want something to scare yourself even more after Japan's devastating battle with nature, this is the best movie for you. It is a feel good movie in the end since the marines, led by Aaron Eckhart, found a way to end the alien invasion. I will not spill the beans, though. My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

50 Questions Challenge, Day 27: Do you want to change your career?

Yes, I planned about changing my career.  I am already growing tired of bureaucracy, excessive politicking, communistic type of management.  I never knew that it is more rampant in private offices than in government agencies.  I am actually wondering how I get to live by it for almost 4 years now.  The last quarter of 2009, I already decided it is time to go and look for a better environment to use and hone my skills.   I extended my stay as requested by my dear friends at work.  Actually, it is just the company of friends that made it hard for me to deny their request of me staying for a little while.  The little while went on for months and  I could not believe that it is the last quarter already and I am still living the life and working the work.
