Christmas Gift Giving 2014

I didn't let the Yuletide Season to pass without teaching my child the value of love and sharing. I have a busy schedule and I know it's the perfect opportunity to spend quality time with him. 

Last December 18, we went to the relocation area of Yolanda survivors in Isla Bonita, Rosario, Cavite to give gifts to children and to give them soup to warm their stomachs. We were with other employees and their kids. 

There were singing, dancing and games. Everyone was happy. Seeing smiles on their faces are so precious. I could tell from the look in my son's eyes that he learned some valuable life lessons from that experience.

World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles

I went to the mall to see World Invasion: Battle Los Angeles earlier this day. It is a story about, probably, man's greatest battle with aliens set in Los Angeles. It is not the best movie to watch with your family but if you want something to scare yourself even more after Japan's devastating battle with nature, this is the best movie for you. It is a feel good movie in the end since the marines, led by Aaron Eckhart, found a way to end the alien invasion. I will not spill the beans, though. My rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars.

50 Questions Challenge, Day 27: Do you want to change your career?

Yes, I planned about changing my career.  I am already growing tired of bureaucracy, excessive politicking, communistic type of management.  I never knew that it is more rampant in private offices than in government agencies.  I am actually wondering how I get to live by it for almost 4 years now.  The last quarter of 2009, I already decided it is time to go and look for a better environment to use and hone my skills.   I extended my stay as requested by my dear friends at work.  Actually, it is just the company of friends that made it hard for me to deny their request of me staying for a little while.  The little while went on for months and  I could not believe that it is the last quarter already and I am still living the life and working the work.
