Marketing 101

I work as a marketer, and advertising is an inevitable task in my profession. Aside from conceptualizing the look and feel of an advertisement, our department is also responsible to look for contractors who are excellent at printing posters, campaigns, and all other printed marketing materials. Just recently, our department had a hard time conceptualizing a promo for a specific new service, it was good to know that aside from poster printing, our contractor (Visit the site here). also had great ideas to share with us. We went with their suggestion and the campaign went so well that we are planning to make it an annual event. I do not have a bachelor's degree in business, but I do not consider it as a disadvantage for me. My being chosen to work in this field has brought me so much experience and it is continuously inspiring me to learn new things. It really doesn't matter if you do not have a degree in business, for as long as you have the guts, the ambition and the courage to pursue your goals, coupled with tact and wit, and I am pretty sure that you will succeed in marketing. If you are new in the marketing field, you can do research, you could even pursue an MBA. The learning opportunity is limitless. You could even join advertising or marketing clubs like the Philippine Marketing Association or Asian Marketing Federation if you live in Asia. There are tons of marketing clubs all over the world wherein you could exchange ideas. Just one important note, though, this is what I have learned from a marketing convention that I attended last year--Market with the TRUTH and PROMISE what you can DELIVER NOW. It is as simple as that in marketing.
