Dream Interpretation: Squid, Pail and Water

I took a nap this afternoon after I got home from school. I was joined by my son who is so tired for playing the whole day.

I had a dream, I think a sequel to my dream about being in the house of my "beau". I did not write about it. In my dream this afternoon, I was in my "beau's" house. It was a two story old house that I am very much familiar with. My "beau" is in the kitchen and I am heading towards the bathroom. On my way there, I saw a pail almost filled with water with three or four squids undulating in it.

And that ends my dream.

According to dreammoods.com, seeing squid in a dream signifies that I am threatened and my judgment is somewhat clouded. It could also mean greed and that I am being self-conscious of how others perceive me.

On the other hand, water symbolizes the subconscious and the emotional state of mind. It is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. The pail being almost full signifies abundance, love and wealth.

Prince William and Kate Middleton: A Fairytale Wedding

I am one of the billion watchers from all over the world who eagerly watched the exchange of vows of the most famous couple of the century--Prince William and Kate Middleton. I actually was teary eyed while I watch Kate walk down the aisle and when she and Prince William walked on the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. It was a really touching experience although I only saw it on television.  Perhaps the most awaited reveal of the wedding is the designer of Kate's dress. Well, lo and behold, it was Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen! The dress is reminiscent of Grace Kelly's wedding dress --classy and not as grand as everybody expected it to be--but, nevertheless, seeing her in a McQueen dress is an unforgettable moment in fashion and it will surely be on the list of the most iconic dresses of all time. Hostage Drama Is Not Yet Over

I feel sad about what happened at the Quirino Grandstand a few days ago.  I purposely did not blog about it while it was happening to at least show respect for the people who are in a very difficult situation.  After many hours of negotiation that ended in a bloodbath, I just feel sorrier for the victims and my fellow Filipinos who had nothing to do with what happened that day.  I have read so many articles about countries hating the Philippines because of the tragic event.  Just now in the news, one of our Senators had a taste of their anger when an airport official in Hong Kong allegedly threw his passport.   I feel bad about the deranged former policeman, too.  He was dismissed from service because of grave misconduct and administrative charges filed against him and three other policemen when they allegedly planted a drug evidence to a chef who works in a hotel in Manila.  Justice is still not served at the time of this writing.  He was an accomplished police officer as proven by t
