WBO declares Pacquio as winner against Bradley

The boxing world was stunned of the announcement that Timothy Bradley beat the pound for pound boxer Manny Pacquio via split decision on June 9. The uproar of fans compelled the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to conduct an investigation.

The Preisdent of  WBO, Paco Valcarel declares Pacquiao as the true winner after the investigation of the 5-man panel with scores 117-111, 117-111, 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113. All scored in favor of Pacquiao. However, despite the WBO result, the organization has no authority to revoke the actual fight result.

Bob Arum announced earlier that there will be no rematch unless an investigation will be made. We can expect a rematch on November but there are no official statements yet from both parties. However, Bradley said that if a rematch will push through, he is ready to fight Pacquiao to prove that he really did win the World Welterweight Championship.

While Bradley is rejoicing of the win, what Pacquiao fans can do is to console him and nothing else.

I am one of the billion watchers from all over the world who eagerly watched the exchange of vows of the most famous couple of the century--Prince William and Kate Middleton. Hostage Drama Is Not Yet Over

I feel sad about what happened at the Quirino Grandstand a few days ago.  I purposely did not blog about it while it was happening to at least show respect for the people who are in a very difficult situation.  After many hours of negotiation that ended in a bloodbath, I just feel sorrier for the victims and my fellow Filipinos who had nothing to do with what happened that day.  I have read so many articles about countries hating the Philippines because of the tragic event.  Just now in the news, one of our Senators had a taste of their anger when an airport official in Hong Kong allegedly threw his passport.   I feel bad about the deranged former policeman, too.  He was dismissed from service because of grave misconduct and administrative charges filed against him and three other policemen when they allegedly planted a drug evidence to a chef who works in a hotel in Manila.  Justice is still not served at the time of this writing.  He was an accomplished police officer as proven by t
