or will stay awake just to watch you sleep... 
wait for the boy who kisses your forehead, 
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in sweats, 
who holds your hand in front of his friends, 
who thinks you' re just as pretty without makeup on. 
One who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares and how lucky he is to have YOU... 
The one who turns to his friends and says, that's her...

I don't know where my cousin got this, but when I read this in her blog, I just realized that she's all grown up.  I am 12 years her senior and I remember playing with her when she was just a little girl and she used to bite me on my arms.  Now that she's all grown up, reading her thoughts about her perception of the world makes me proud that she is my cousin.  

It is Valentine's Day tomorrow, it is not surprising that her recent entry is about love.  I am not worried if at this point she'll find love, she still has a lot to learn about it, but I know she's on the right track.

Prince William and Kate Middleton: A Fairytale Wedding

I am one of the billion watchers from all over the world who eagerly watched the exchange of vows of the most famous couple of the century--Prince William and Kate Middleton. I actually was teary eyed while I watch Kate walk down the aisle and when she and Prince William walked on the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. It was a really touching experience although I only saw it on television.  Perhaps the most awaited reveal of the wedding is the designer of Kate's dress. Well, lo and behold, it was Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen! The dress is reminiscent of Grace Kelly's wedding dress --classy and not as grand as everybody expected it to be--but, nevertheless, seeing her in a McQueen dress is an unforgettable moment in fashion and it will surely be on the list of the most iconic dresses of all time. Hostage Drama Is Not Yet Over

I feel sad about what happened at the Quirino Grandstand a few days ago.  I purposely did not blog about it while it was happening to at least show respect for the people who are in a very difficult situation.  After many hours of negotiation that ended in a bloodbath, I just feel sorrier for the victims and my fellow Filipinos who had nothing to do with what happened that day.  I have read so many articles about countries hating the Philippines because of the tragic event.  Just now in the news, one of our Senators had a taste of their anger when an airport official in Hong Kong allegedly threw his passport.   I feel bad about the deranged former policeman, too.  He was dismissed from service because of grave misconduct and administrative charges filed against him and three other policemen when they allegedly planted a drug evidence to a chef who works in a hotel in Manila.  Justice is still not served at the time of this writing.  He was an accomplished police officer as proven by t
