Good Old High School Days

I saw this picture on my BFF's blog and it sure made my day. I consider them as my support system during ups and downs of high school life--even until now, although most of them are already out of the country. They are my second family--the Arcanghels. I will start from the top row, this will be fun.

1.Wiljohn - he has a twin sister and they were born on Christmas Day (correct me if I am wrong). I remember him to be jolly, full of antics and he never loses his cool, until one day--he had a fight with Alberto, my Sisteret, because of a non-sense college entrance exam result. They were both in shambles after the fight... even our classroom was a mess. They didn't speak to each other for days and up to now it is still a mystery for me how they managed to made-up. He's also Karla's escort during Intramurals and they both won by the way.

2.Eric - Paula's favorite son and I am Eric's favorite Aunt.

3.Paul- my seat mate who I rarely see. I call him Houdini because he's really good at disappearing. He would go to class in the morning and he would be absent in the afternoon. He is one of the CK Jammers--our school's version of Backstreet Boys.

4.Alberto - my Sisteret. We have a minority group called Powder Babies and I remember him saying that one day there will be a liquid that turns into powder when applied on the face and if he pursued that vision, he would be Max Factor's most valued asset right now. The first time I saw him mad was when he had a fight with Wiljohn. He was so mad he threw the side table towards Wiljohn--that was a scene! It makes me laugh whenever I remember.

5.Bernie - the man with lots of Family Jokes and his frequent target was Paula. It was our JS Prom, his name was called as the Mr. Junior but he was nowhere to be found! Alas! He came out, still tucking his shirt, of the comfort room.

6.John - son of Puff Mommy and Puff Daddy. He "married" Abigael in the Titanic of Trece Martires City on March 1998.

7.Christian - Abigael and Kathrine had a pool party in celebration of their birthday. The boys went for a swim, including Christian, but unfortunately the boys returned to their original skin tone in just a week but he remains burned up to now. Pity.

8.Kathrine - one of the Trompa Girls because she has one of the loudest voices in the class. She always brings her umbrella because the sun might ruin her porcelain complexion. She vied for the title of Ms. UN together with Abigael as she dons Cleopatra's garb.

9.Karla - the uber achiever in the family because of the many titles she won. The eye candy of Wiljohn and many others and the younger sister of Marianito. I will remember her for this line, "You are already 16 years old and you still don't know how to iron your clothes!"

10.Joan - also one of the Trompa Girls. Known for her contagious laugh.

11.Abigael - Ms. British Virgin Islands. "Married" John. She considers my yellow Benetton wallet as her lucky charm. Shows professionalism even at a very young age. She cared less when her shoe's heel broke during their cotillion de honor practice.

13.Sherry Rose - shall I consider her the black sheep? We were on an overnight swimming in Silang and in the middle of the fun and laughter she said, "Inay, buntis ako, 3 months." And our world stopped turning for a minute. That was a joke.

14.Aldrin - we fondly call him Toyo simply because that's what his best buddy calls him--maybe because he has craziness in him that only Aldrich knew.

15.Aldrich - Paula matches him to me but (un)fortunately nothing blossomed after this famous line, "Eh di burahin mo!"

16.Marianito - Karla's older brother. We call him Marusi because he always brings his Marusi radio. The boys call him Flipper--haha!

17.Ms. Bobadilla - our Adviser and Mother at the same time. Thank goodness she didn't resign because of all the troubles our class caused her.

18.Paula - my best friend and my alter ego. Our dilemma every time we go home--the tricycle.

19.Maah Anne - our class president and Aldrich's "mortal enemy". The accident prone lady.

ERRATUM:

Sorry Leo, I don't know how to explain this but I overlooked your picture.  Let me make amends to my honest mistake.

20. Leo (Beside Kathrine) - he is the Attorney, Doctor, etc. of the family.  I have known him since 2nd year and I can say he is one of my best male buds in school.  I remember him most when he "massacred" our classroom door with a bolo and to get away with it, he covered the "stabs" with a masking tape and then painted it chocolate brown to match the color of the door.  He remains one of the most loyal friends I have.  Truly, a man anyone can depend on.
